IT Operations Manager

Are you ready to take your career to the next level in 2025? ANZCO Foods is looking for a dynamic and experienced IT Operations Manager to join our high-performing technology team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of one of New Zealand's largest exporters, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital presence and improving customer engagement.
Reporting to our Head of Technology, this position is responsible for the delivery of IT services across the ANZCO Foods Group in New Zealand and overseas including for example WAN, LAN, printers, desktops, servers and the 24/7 service desk. You will oversee a highly skilled technical team and ensure our systems are available and continuously improved to provide new, faster and better services.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Negotiate, manage and monitor the contracts with IT service providers to ensure value for money and optimal service delivery
Oversee incident, problem, and change management, technology reporting, and continuous improvement of the ITSM function
Manage and maintain IT system security to meet ANZCO Foods' requirements
Development of standard IT operating procedures
Alignment of the future IT operational environment with the ANZCO Foods Group Strategic Direction
Maintaining effective relationships with key business stakeholders
Responsible for defining, measuring and delivering on service levels agreements (SLA) and operational level agreements (OLA) across the IT operation
Responsibility for setting the IT operations budgets and managing the IT operations cost
Ensure all IT licenses are appropriate, adequate and up-to-date
Develop quality improvement processes

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

ITIL certification or equivalent
Ensure optimal service is delivered by the Operations function
Ability to effectively coordinate across the business to manage service delivery, change and incident management in a global enterprise setting
Experience providing accurate and regular reports to the management on performance across various technology functions utilising data analysis
Strong leadership and management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a high level of commercial awareness
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Understanding of Project Management methodologies and demonstrable planning, prioritisation and organisation skills
Solid understanding of business needs in terms of technology, IT and architecture
Food & Fibre industry knowledge desirable
Experience in a similar role desirable
