About the role
Is education delivery to Emergency nurses a role you have considered? Clinical Coaching has shown us the importance of impromptu learning opportunities for our team .Our nursing team continues to have a requirement for excellent clinical skills to provide efficient and safe care to our community. We are looking for an experienced Emergency Department nurse with proven clinical excellence and a passion for teaching.
This is a great career opportunity for you to share your clinical knowledge with nursing colleagues to provide extra clinical coaching and training at the bedside. There will also be the opportunity for you to mentor and provide clinical coaching to staff new to the ward and to consolidate ongoing practice for others.

About you

It is essential that you are a Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate
A current Portfolio (PDRP or equivalent) or be working towards one
Strong communication, mentoring, and coaching skills
A first-rate knowledge of professional standards and regulations for Nurses with impeccable practice standards and nursing speciality knowledge
The ability to work as part of team in a collaborative manner
Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $86,519 and $106,739 p.a pro rata dependent on relevant experience.
