Join our Kitchen Team!
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to assist our team across the Summer at our busy seasonal cafe. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working under pressure with a high level of efficiency, cleanliness and is passionate about creating delicious food. Skills and experience in baking would be advantageous.
This is a part-time casual position with the potential to increase hours through our busy summer period (December/January/February).
We are open throughout the summer months including public holidays and the Christmas/New Year period. Availability over this period is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of fresh cabinet food, baking and seasonal treats
• Work alongside the Head Chef to maintain efficient workflows
• Consistently deliver high standards of food
• Run efficient food storage, waste minimization, and food prep systems
• Maintain impeccable food quality and presentation, adhering to established guidelines.

Requirements:

• Culinary Diploma or equivalent by on the job training.
• At least 1 to 2 years' experience as a CDP
• Passionate about producing great food in a fast paced environment.
• High level of workspace cleanliness and personal hygiene
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable transport and clean drivers licence
