- Casual - In this role you will be covering leave for shifts 06.30 - 3pm and 2.30pm to 11pm (please indicate on your cover letter what shifts you are available for)
- This position will start mid-January 2025
Salary - Starting rate $23.75 per hour. Based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement
Are you looking to contribute to the community in a meaningful way? Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and help maintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment for our tūroro (patients) and whānau.
You will be responsible for:
- Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standards
- Ensuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframes
- Operating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whānau
- Handling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocols
About you
Skills and Experience:
- High level of patient confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.
