Campus Student Support Assistant (Auckland)

Role: Part-Time Teacher Aide (25-30 hours per week, Term Time Only)
Are you a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced teacher aide looking for a rewarding opportunity? One School Global Auckland Campus has an exciting part-time position available for someone to join our team. This role is available until December 2025 and offers 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during term time (between 8:30 am – 3:00 pm).
About the Role:
As a Teacher Aide, you will collaborate closely with our classroom teachers to provide support to individual students as well as small groups. This role also involves tracking student progress, gathering data, and maintaining effective communication with both families and staff members.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Recent experience working with children or young people, particularly in a similar age group.
- Experience in supporting students with learning challenges.
- Proven ability to implement effective learning strategies and create opportunities for student success.
- A understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and various learning methods is desirable.
- Solid digital literacy and familiarity with using technology in education.
- The ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students, including supporting communication and learning development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Patience, resilience, and empathy to work effectively with students of varying needs.
Start Date: Term 1, 2025
