We are excited to share that we are looking for a Café Team Lead to join our team!
As a Cafe Team Lead, you will be an important part of the management team at bp, helping to promote Wild Bean Cafe sales and helping to deliver operational success. You will do this by coaching and developing Wild Bean Cafe staff to deliver great coffee and food whilst ensuring a high level of customer service. You will maximise sales through product and stock management and ensure adherence to HSSE standards.

As a Café Team Lead, you’ll spend a lot of time on your feet serving customers, making delicious Wild Bean coffees and food, running the till, and keeping the store clean and tidy - because you know it’s the little details that add up to a great customer experience.
Specifically, you bring the following skills and attributes:
- Previous leadership experience in a cafe or similar industry
- Effective communication skills with a competency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
- Friendly, energetic and approachable with a natural flair for great customer service
- Organisational skills – with the ability to multi-task in a busy setting
- Attention to detail, the ability to work in accordance with safe work practices and operational procedures, as well as a level-head to carry out emergency activities if required
- A real team player who is keen to wear our brand with pride
- Eligibility to work in NZ
