We steward the family violence and sexual violence system and drive realisation of the cross-agency strategy-Te Aorerekura. We work in partnership with communities across Aotearoa New Zealand, placing survivors, families, and whanau at the heart of everything we do.

Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Te Puna Aonui is seeking a dedicated Senior Advisor for three months, Strategy, Investment & Performance to join a new multi-disciplinary and flexible team. In this role, you will work through strong relationships to influence others and build support for shared, collective advice to the Government on strategy, performance, investment, and implementation aimed at eliminating family violence and sexual violence (FVSV). You will develop and provide advice for Ministers and leaders across Te Puna Aonui agencies, identifying opportunities to address complex challenges within shared systems.
This role will support the business unit to develop its capability in project and programme management. Working alongside the Manager for Strategy, Investment and Performance and programme leads you will assist in the design and development of a project management methodology and supporting systems and processes and its roll out, supporting managers and their teams to embed this capability, providing guidance as they adopt this new way of working.

O pukenga/Skills and Experience
  • Experience of working in a project / programme environment or PMO.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2, AMP, Agile, MSP).
  • Understanding of the key requirements of a project / programme including scoping, approvals, planning, risk management, reporting and closure.
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise critical activities.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and design appropriate solutions.
  • Experience of Share Point technologies would be advantageous.

Utu a-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $65,066 and 83,567 based on skills and experience.
