Administration Clerk

Permanent, Part Time (0.2FTE/8hrs per week on Mondays)

Haematology Day Stay Service, North Shore Hospital

The Haematology service is looking for an Administration Clerk to provide key administration support to the haematology department and Haematology Day Stay.Waitemata District has an established dynamic and growing haematology department based at North Shore Hospital. Clinical areas include malignant haematology, a large acute thrombosis service, an active research department as well as general haematology.

If successful you will provide key administration support and undertake the following duties:

Organised day to day running of Doctors clinics
Administration for Haematology Day Stay unit and outpatient clinics
Ordering of supplies
Coding and filing of notes on discharge from haematology Day Stay
Booking and coding in i PM of patient appointments (clinic appointments and treatments)

This position requires you to identify workloads and priorities whilst continuously improving service standards in line with Waitemata DHB policies.

Willing to learn quickly and take direction

Providing service excellence to our haematology patients and staff is essential. Creating an environment that is welcoming, professional and supports our department requires the clerical Administrator to work in a cohesive and collaborative manner.
