We are looking for a dedicated TENDER ENGINEER OFFSHORE WIND with expertise the field of cathodic protection to join our team. This role will involve managing and coordinating the tender and bidding process for offshore corrosion protection projects. The successful candidate will ensure bids align with both CORROSION’s internal standards and specific client requirements, while supporting the sales team and maintaining strong relationships with clients and business relations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Bid Management: Lead the end-to-end tender process, preparing and submitting bids that adhere to CORROSION’s standards and meet client specifications within ITT, RFI, and RFQ .
· Technical and Commercial Assessment: Analyze ITT, RFI, and RFQ documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, scope of work, and requirements. Identify and assess risks related to bids.
· Cost estimation and Benchmarking: Prepare indicative budgetary bids and perform calculations according to CORROSION standards. Develop cost analyses and benchmark various ICCP solutions to ensure competitive and compliant proposals.
· Client and Subcontractor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Participate in clarification and negotiation meetings to ensure alignment on technical content and contract terms.
· Sales Team Support: Assist the sales team by updating CRM databases, streamlining workflows, and enhancing overall efficiency.
· Project Support: Provide tender and commercial support for new projects, ensuring a smooth transition from the bid phase to project execution.
Qualifications:
· Educational Background & Industry Experience : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) and over 5 years of expertise in technical bid preparation, ideally within the offshore (wind) industry. Preferably holding an ICORR level 2 or higher, NACE level 2 or higher or equivalent.
· Technical & Analytical Proficiency : Strong ability to interpret technical documents, perform cost analysis and budgeting, and proficient use of Ex- and Internal databases.
· Communication & Relationship Management : Excellent communication and negotiation skills, proven in building strong client and subcontractor relationships, with fluency in both Dutch and English.
Preferred Skills:
· Project Expertise & Adaptability : Demonstrated experience in offshore project requirements, international procurement, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, improvement-focused environment.
· Proactive Organization & Independence : Strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage tasks and deadlines independently.
· Technical & Communication Proficiency : Skilled in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and reporting tools, with excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
