Are you passionate about quality and precision? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where your expertise makes a direct impact? Mérieux Nutri Sciences Netherlands is seeking a Quality Assurance & Purchasing Officer (new position) to join our Rotterdam laboratory team.
In that position, you will be part of a dynamic team leading Mosh Moah analysis for our customers based everywhere in Europe. You will directly report to the Quality Manager based in Berlin.
What you’ll do:
As a QA & Purchasing Officer, you will:
- Champion Quality: Implement and maintain ISO 17025-compliant systems, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to corporate quality standards.

Lead Audits: Organize internal audits, coordinate external audits, and liaise with the Accreditation Council (Rv A).
Drive Innovation: Collaborate with teams to enhance analytical techniques and operational processes. - Train and Support: Provide training and expert advice on quality systems to staff and partners.
- Optimize Procurement: Oversee purchasing for laboratory operations, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
YOUR PROFILE
What you bring:
- A degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, or equivalent experience (HBO level).
- At least 3 years of experience in ISO 17025-accredited labs and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in Dutch and in English in a professional context.
