Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.

We are looking for a Purchaser / Operationeel Inkoper to join our Renewable Production department at the Neste Rotterdam Refinery.

This role reports into the Head of Procurement Central Europe & Americas and in this role you will be responsible for operational buying of required Services and Materials for Neste entities in the Netherlands.

Your main responsibilities in creating a sustainable future are:

• Execute all site related procurement process activities, detect any concerns and raise questions on any unclarity in the purchase requisitions before issuing the purchase orders to our preferred suppliers
  
• Ensure order confirmations are received and recorded in SAP
  
• Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQ) for single purchases
  
• Perform commercial bid evaluations
  
• Perform negotiations with suppliers
  
• Accountable for expediting of goods ordered (order confirmations and timely deliveries)
  
• Focalpoint for our internal customer and our suppliers on complaints deliveries e.g. discrepancies. Monitor, divide, delegate and resolve all assigned parked and blocked invoices in a timely manner, ensuring invoices are available to pay.
  
• Closely work together with procurement counterparts abroad

• Bachelor degree in a technical discipline
  
• 3+ years of experience
  
• Knowledge of the industry is preferred
  
• SAP Experience
