Welcome to the exciting world of International HR at HMT! As an International HR Generalist, you will lead the way in supporting our global workforce and ensuring compliance with local labor laws across various countries and cultures.

Your Mission:
Payroll: Administer and upload payroll data to an external payroll provider and monitor the completion of a pay cycle
Recruitment and Staffing: coordinate international sourcing and recruitment efforts ensuring compliance with local hiring regulations, connecting with agencies, extending offers, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, and reporting.
Employee Relations: Manage sickness process, promote a positive workplace culture, organize personnel events, write company announcements, prepare/renew contracts, and more.
Compensation and Benefits: Monitor current international compensation and benefits programs to support in development of new ones, and map markets to ensure fairness and competitiveness across various regions.
Training and Development: Support with engagement survey and performance review cycle, coordinate external training activities.
Policy Development: Update HR policies and procedures that align with local laws and global company standards where needed, ensuring consistency and fairness.
Who you are:
- 1-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with experience in an international HR function is a plus.
- Strong command of both Dutch B2 and English languages, given the international nature of our company.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate cultural differences and build relationships with employees at all levels.
- Accountability, results-oriented mindset, discretion with confidential matters, and strong work ethic.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive nature to research cases thoroughly to achieve resolution.
- Basic knowledge of Dutch HR legislation, with additional knowledge of international employment laws as a bonus.
- HBO or WO education in Human Resources, with a master's degree being a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, and familiarity with ADP payroll system is a plus
- Full Time role
- Fixed Term 1-year contract for the first year with the goal of extension.
