• You translate business needs into a comprehensive design strategy, while managing resources and budgets to optimize efficiency.

• You lead and coach the product designers to achieve team goals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability in the process.

• You provide strategic and creative direction to the team, elevating design excellence, consistency, and coherence across all products, including how we build and implement a universal design system.

• You lead the integration of UX research into the design process, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and behaviours and powering data-driven design decisions

• You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across product management, engineering, product marketing and others to ensure design work meets technical and business requirements.

• You use data insights and user research to inform designs and enhance the user experience with our products.

• You monitor and analyse market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for design innovation.
  
  

• 10+ years of proven product design experience, with a portfolio of exceptional visual design from both them and their team

• Strong leadership skills, with at least 2 years of experience managing and motivating user experience teams

• Exceptional design craft, with a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and usability best practices

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively articulate design concepts and strategies

• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance setting a creative vision with delivering on business needs

• Organizational savviness, with the ability to align cross-functionally to inspire others and influence product strategy

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
