· Client facing role of an Enterprise architect for telecom domain,
· Ability to manage business /stakeholder expectations, demonstrate technical thought leadership with experience in developing large end to end Enterprise Architecture
· Ownership to engage with the Chief Architect’s office to
1. Define the overall IT strategy & Target Architecture
2. Create roadmaps per market facing unit / Domain,
3. Define architecture patterns and principles for all portfolios to adopt and align
4. Devise common guardrails and policies for architecture and design community, architecture conformance framework to be adopted by the portfolio and solution architects
5. Create the HL reference model for business capabilities, Process models, data models
6. Create a well-defined set of architecture policies and roadmaps.
· Responsible for alignment of overall portfolio designs to relevant enterprise level strategies with maximum reusability quotient ensured by working closely with existing MFU design teams, CX leads and product lines while ensuring alignment to relevant regulatory framework.
· Ensure solution alignment across multiple business units
o Where there is a product consumption chain across business units, ensure a joined-up architecture covering OSS, Processes, Operations and Network.
o Where there are a number of equivalent (peer) or related products in multiple MFUs, ensure that these maximise re-use of technical and operational solutions
· Lead a community of solution architects to share knowledge and experience relevant to the Enterprise Programme. This team will also consider various E2E issues that need resolution
· Ensure that Architecture and Design is accounting for the non-functional acceptable E2E across a product consumption chain, or that non-functional aspects of shared components are suitable for all consuming products.
· Ensure that the operations and ASG teams will be able to support the relevant products considering available opex
· Support product teams in customer engagements.
· Awareness and building knowledge of the industry and competitors and act as a consultant, where appropriate, to product teams
· Identify and drive areas of improvement, including product processes, OSS, design, development and test.
· Responsible for providing technical leadership to a team of Solution architects on large complex projects/programs with multiple workstreams to ensure technical alignment and consistency of delivery
· Extensive experience in preparing Enterprise Architecture for complex IT system integrations and transformations for Telecom Networks in a leading technical role and a deep understanding of the underlying processes, methods and tools
· Strong understanding of Telco products - Broadband, Voice, TV, Fixed / NGN Convergent Solutions, Ethernet, connectivity products with good working knowledge and experience of Telco architecture
· Successfully delivered a number of complex transformation programmes for Tier 1 Telco accounts
· Architecture and Design Experiences in using modelling tools (e.g. Sparx EA, IBM Rational Rose)
· Possess certifications like - TM Forum Frameworkx: Business Process, Information and Application frameworks, Integration Framework (TNA) and CMM/CMMI, or alternatively proven experience is required and conversant with standards like TMF Frameworx, TOGAF, SOA and leading enterprise architecture development for large production grade ICT solutions
· Experience driving major OSS or BSS transformation projects with Hands on experience of Telecom Networks, one or more of the following: BB networks (DOCSIS, FTTX, GPON)), Transmission Networks (SDH, DWDM, CE), IP Networks (L2/L3 VPN)
· Ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: €75.000,00 - €80.000,00 per year
Experience:

• Telecom Industry: 10 years (Preferred)
• BSS / OSS: 5 years (Preferred)
• Enterprise Architect: 10 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
