We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Team Leader to join our growing R2R (Record to Report) Operations team. These team activities will be executed from our office in Morocco and you will play a crucial role in onboarding new clients in Belgium, training new employees on existing and new clients, managing KPIs, setting up improvement trajectories, etc. You will regularly conduct business trips to our clients in Belgium to define and prepare new work orders for transfer to the Moroccan teams. You will also oversee all aspects of the financial close process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with internal controls and deadlines. Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the complete R2R process for a group of clients from Belgium, including reconciliations, account closings and financial reporting. • Organize the transition of the work currently performed by the client's Belgian teams: documentation of the work processes, tools, methods and rules; Create a train the trainer plan with online and on-site (in Tangier, Morocco) training to start new client relationships, • Develop and implement a clear and efficient month-end closing calendar and procedures. • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all closing tasks by team members. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement in the closing process. • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to collect necessary closing data. • Perform complex financial reconciliations (bank statements, intercompany accounts, etc.) and investigate and resolve discrepancies. • Participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks. • Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements (balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statement) according to accounting standards (e.g. follow specific standards such as Belgian GAAP, IFRS). • Review the work of team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. • Promote a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. • Analyze financial data and trends to support management decisions. • Stay informed about Belgian accounting standards and best practices in financial reporting. • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in R2R operations.
Profil Recherché

• Minimum 5 years of experience in R2R (Record-to-Report) operations or related field
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and financial reporting processes.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reconciliation techniques and internal control frameworks.
• Mastery of financial accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Exact, Yuki, ...) and MS Office Suite (Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
