The Data Insights Manager is responsible for leading a team of proxy-POs, POs & business data analysts specialists to deliver actionable insights that drive business decision-making. This role requires a strong combination of technical & analytical expertise, leadership skills to ensure that data is effectively leveraged to optimize processes, improve performance, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
The Data Insights Manager is responsible for leading a team of proxy-POs, POs & business data analysts specialists to deliver actionable insights that drive business decision-making. This role requires a strong combination of technical & analytical expertise, leadership skills to ensure that data is effectively leveraged to optimize processes, improve performance, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data strategies that align with overall company objectives and optimize data-driven decision-making
- Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Implement and oversee best practices for data governance, validation, and compliance
- Collaborate with data engineering team to ensure the availability of clean, reliable data sources & deliver Data products
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key business challenges that can be addressed through data analysis
- Create career development plans for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and upskilling
- Set clear objectives and key results (OKRs) for the team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role
- Proven experience managing and scaling a data insights or analytics team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques
- Experience collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional teams to shape business strategy through data insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and data-driven product development
- Experience in finance sector is a plus
