We are currently recruiting for a Confirmed Accountant (Accounts Receivable) for the Finance Department in Casablanca, Morocco.
The ideal candidate will be responsible ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and account reconciliation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record accounting transaction (invoices, bank statement, accruals..).
- Monitor customer & suppliers accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing & invoice records.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure prompt payment.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to track overdue accounts.
- Work closely with the operational teams to ensure all accounting operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the accounts receivable process.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all accounts transactions.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Train and mentor junior staff on processes and best practices.

To be successful in this position, you must meet the following REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s or Master degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (nice to have)

5 years’ experience as a Confirmed Accountant (n)

Knowledge of ERP system is an advantage

Knowledge in Office Pack (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Fluency in English, French
