About the position
This position will be based out of our office in Mérida, Mexico. Verato offers a comprehensive compensation package that includes stock options, year-end bonus, extra vacation time, and other benefits that go well beyond the standard.

• Verato Automation Engineer will be responsible for implementing functionality to better manage the infrastructure required to deliver our world-class, industrial-strength, commercial Cloud Service.
• He/she will work in small Agile teams with other members of the Dev Ops, Customer Operations, and Development function to design and implement new monitoring and alerting capabilities, enhance our automated performance testing infrastructure, automate manual processes, etc.
• Automation engineers will be expected to cultivate a philosophy of continuous improvement, staying abreast of industry best practices regarding cloud computing, among other knowledge areas.

Requirements
To fulfill the responsibilities of this position, expertise or knowledge in the following areas is required:

• +2 of experience on similar roles
• BS in Computer Science or related technical degree
• Good programming abilities using Python, Bash, Groovy, Java Script, or other scripting methods
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP
