Job Description

• Determine project specifications by understanding process requirements, completing technical studies and preparing cost estimation.
• Liaise with Project Manager to gather the information & requirement and incorporating knowledges/detail in the design drawing using engineering design software i.e. Auto CAD, 3D Modeling, Windows etc.
• Prepare preliminary sketches (design, layout, detail engineering drawing etc.) for review and discuss along with the Project Manager for finalization in design.
• Create design specification and material lists in the design drawing preparation and ensure final design comply with regulation and quality standards.
• Identify any potential issue (operational, feasibility etc.) and contribute new idea (problem solving abilities) in design for improvement. Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes etc.
• Ability to work well in a team (communication) and on your own. Besides, ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time and ability to meet deadlines.
• Prepare tender document and drawing, call for tender, conduct tender interview, carry out tender evaluation and work execution.
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
• Monitor and supervise project works (fabrication and site works), to ensure it meets the requirements in term of cost, quality and completion period.
• Scrutinize documents management for ease of future retrieval and reference - drawings, reports and other related info for project management work.

Requirements

• Recognized Degree in Engineering or relevant experience in the use of engineering design/drawing software.
• Working experience in palm oil mill operation or other industry in create detailed technical plans and drawing.
• Experienced in engineering and site supervision handling engineering construction projects involving project design, planning, organizing and execution in consultants, contractors and developers offices.
• Experienced in the use of engineering design software i.e. Auto CAD, Windows etc.
• Experienced in the use of 3D Modeling software for 3D drawing (added advantages).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Strong interpersonal/people skills with the ability to manage design and mill/site personnel.
• Possess leadership, analytical, detailed, troubleshooting and results oriented skills.
• Ability to work independently, good working attitude, initiative, responsibility and trustworthy.
• Willing to travel extensively to Johor, Sabah or Indonesia for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
