Orthotist Specialist

Position Title : Orthotist specialist Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their orthotic needs. - Design and fabricate custom orthopedic devices, including braces, splints, and supports, using appropriate materials and techniques. - Fit and adjust orthotic devices to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal function for the patient. - Educate patients and their families about the use and care of orthotic devices and provide guidance on rehabilitation exercises. - Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. - Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthotic technology and techniques. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient care standards. - Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the orthotic department. - Support research activities and contribute to the advancement of orthotic practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics or a related field.-
Strong understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics, and materials science related to orthotics. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and healthcare teams. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Minimum one year experience is required.
