American International University (AIU) is looking for a dynamic and engaged Lab Coordinator. The Lab Coordinator at the American International University-Kuwait is responsible for oversight of all labs on campus. This includes labs taught by faculty from the following schools: School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, and School of Architecture and Design.

The Lab Coordinator at the American International University-Kuwait is responsible for oversight of all labs on campus. This includes labs taught by faculty from the following schools: School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering, and School of Architecture and Design.
Job Requirements:
- Coordinate the purchasing and storage of lab supplies.
- Evaluate lab technician job performance.
- Assist in the creation of lab schedules.
- Develop and implement lab safety policies.
- Coordinate maintenance of lab equipment.
- Prepare and submit budgets, including capital budgets for new equipment.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for each lab.
- Coordinate annual training for lab technicians and lab instructors. Coordinate delivery, setup, and training for newly purchased equipment.

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher
- 2+ years of lab supervision experience
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Continuing education in lab management and/or lab safety
- Master's degree or higher
Language:
- English (Required)
