Medical Administration

• 
  Manage student medical information on school information systems (Reach and i SAMs).
• Checking students in to sick bay.
• Scheduling appointments for nurses, as well as outside medical appointments for students.
• Stock taking and ordering.
• Organising vaccinations schedules and coordinating these.
• Keeping records up to date during epidemics and medical incidents on site.
• Supporting with billing and insurance needs.
• Preparing and processing medical documentation.
• Supporting preparing for hospital visits preparing necessary paperwork.
• Completing administration regarding health insurance cards, my number cards, and liaising with City Hall.

Communication

• 
  Notifying staff of students' location and any relevant information.
• Contacting parents of student’s medical needs and current conditions.
• Liaising with operations staff about facility and stock needs.

Student support

• 
  Supporting students with filling in medical forms.
• Being a friendly face at the door of sick bay.
• Supporting during epidemics with delivering water, food, and other necessities to students.

General

• 
  Familiarise oneself and remain up to date with the UK National Minimum Boarding Standards for Boarding Schools and ensure compliance with them.
• To attend nurse team meetings.
• To be familiar with the school’s code of practice for health and safety, and its policies and procedures for countering bullying, substance misuse and child protection; to be willing to undertake additional training as required by the School.
• To carry out other related duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Head teacher, Deputy Head Pastoral, Head of Operations, and Lead Nurse.

Japanese and English language skills are essential for this post.
