About this vacancy

• Develop SCADA system including local and central monitoring and control units;
• Design and maintain software applications to supplement core SCADA capabilities consistent with published standards and functional specifications;
• Installation and configuration/testing work at customer sites;
• Diagnose and troubleshoot of problems related but not limited to: servers, data acquisition, field level devices and network related issues at the test platform and customer site;
• Work with project management to report project status, risks and mitigation measures for successful execution of system during tests/commission/startup;
• Close collaboration with the vendors to warranty a quality system is installed and tested to design specifications

What we expect from you

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in SCADA systems engineering or industrial automation
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) and SCADA software (Wonderware, GE i Fix, Movicon, Ignition, etc.)
• Knowledge of .NET VBA, Simple Network Communication Protocol (SNMP), MODBUS TCP, Transact-Structured Query Language (T-SQL)
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Results-oriented with attention to detail
• Fluent in both Italian and English is a must
• Serious motivation for the Employeneurship model of TMC
