For our Savigliano site in Italy we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic
Engineering Quality Engineer
Purpose of the job:

• To be part of Engineering Quality Team to ensure the deliveries from the Site are at the right quality level

Network & Links
Internal:

• Engineering local/central team, Platform team, Project team, Industrial, Planning, Engineering quality population: QSRW, RS, Pr EM and Engineering project team, Industrial., and Train Sub System for RS/Compo.

External:

• suppliers, sub-contractors

Main responsability

Makes sure that Engineering standards are well known and applied:

• Alert in case of deviation,
• Manage corrective actions when necessary,
• Propose improvements when relevant,

Improves Quality Engineering standards with the return of experience:

• Manage no recurrent list top issue and check recurrence in project execution,
• Support EQM to Lead REX committee and integrate return of experience in Engineering standard and golden rules

Support EQM in Tender Design Review and Tender Gate Review implementation and monitoring:

• Optimize DFQ check list for Engineering deliverables and Design Review,
• Implement REX in DFQ check list for Engineering deliverables and Design Review check list.
• Support to prepare Tender Gate Review and product development

Manages the assurance of quality of Metier Engineering deliverables:

• To check quality status of Engineering deliverables including REX
• To link engineering and manufacturing engineering (design for manufacturing).
• Support in deploying P-FMEA and D-FMEA

Makes sure that Design Reviews are efficiently held:

• Challenge and check consistency of the Design Review vs Project Risks,
• Make sure that DR are well prepared and fueled GR process,
• Follow action plan and update Design Review status.

Manage Engineering Quality issues:

• Make sure that problem solving process is properly applied and meet the objectives,
• To Update Quality Engineering KPIs, and propose action plans for improvement when necessary.

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (electromechanical, electrical, material, mechanical…) or equivalent
• Fluent in English (company language)
• Fluent in the local site language

Knowledge & Experience
Mandatory:

• Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project,
• Experience in Quality / audit are appreciated

Desirable:

• Experience in quality/audit of engineering process
• Knowledge of railway or other safety regulated industry (norms, certifications…), verification and validation
• Coming from Engineering & be selected as potential successor for EQM or direct subordinates of SED

Competencies & Skills - (Technical & Behavioral)
Mandatory:

• Rigorous and ability to deal with different projects and missions. Proactive
• Sense of synthesis and managing complex issues
• Collaboration/Teamwork and Customer oriented,
• Knowledge in quality assurance methods and tools
• Customer (external or internal) orientation

Desirable:

• Auditor certification and experience
• Business acumen
• Use of tools like MSOffice, Share Point, Project Tracking Databases, Software development and testing tools
