- Bookkeeper type 3
- +5 years of experience as a bookkeeper in a global company (Min. 200 employees WW)
- Strong knowledge in account payable bookkeeping aspects
- Good understanding of Israeli statutory requirement and processes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in Hebrew and English
- Fluent in business English
- Technical skills:
- Microsoft programs – Word, Excel Technical skills: ERP systems – must (SAP/Oracle/Priority)
- Ensuring adherence with all compliance under the VAT laws in Israel region including computation of tax, payment of tax, filing of returns, filing of statements and certifications.
- Analyzing transactional data and validating the correctness of the same to ensure compliance with company policy and VAT laws.
- Working closely with multiple teams like accounting, AP, AR, Treasury etc, to improve systems and processes for effective compliance management
- Managing tax assessments and audits and ensuring all documentation required for tax audits and assessment.
- Tax Accounting and Reconciliation of tax returns with financial books and tax reports.
- Collate data and co-ordinate in relation to tax audit and tax notices.
- Maintaining records in Priority system.
- Supporting business teams and litigation team with accurate and timely data support for current and past periods.
- Create process documentation and update them at regular intervals in consultation with relevant stakeholders
- Team player attitude, enjoys collaboration and is self-motivated Detail-oriented with superior organization
