Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve performance goals.
Coordinate and optimise inventory management, including stock control and order fulfilment processes.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
Implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency across all warehouse functions.
Act as the primary point of contact for team issues, resolving conflicts and providing clear communication.
Monitor and report on KPIs to senior management, suggesting improvements as necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader operational objectives.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Warehouse Operative or in a similar role within the logistics industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
In-depth understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory systems, and safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a hands-on approach to challenges.
Relevant certifications in warehouse operations or team management (desirable).
