Senior Bar Tender

YOUR ROLE
We are currently looking for experienced senior bar staff for Green Room Bar & Royal Theatre Bar.
As part of the bar team you will ensure visitors feel welcomed at all times. We have a friendly and professional greeting as guests walk into the cocktail bar and work as part of a customer facing team, providing a friendly and knowledgeable welcome on behalf of the company.
Main areas of responsibilities

• Following directions and examples of senior staff and managers
• Recommending drinks with full knowledge of products
• Knowledge on gift card, voucher and cash payments
• Adhering to checklists provided, keeping the restaurant clean and orderly at all times
• Running drinks and resetting tables when needed
• Up selling products to enhance sales and customers experience
• Following training plans set out by managers
• Building rapport with the customers, getting to know locals and chatting in a friendly professional manner to guests

Requirements and skills

• Duties include open/close bar, stock keeping, customer service, supervision of staff
• Team orientated
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Professional and outgoing personality
• Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays

The ideal candidate must have:

• Experience in a similar position (min. 2 years+)
• Cocktail experience an advantage
• Customer service orientated, good personality
• An ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
• A passion for the industry & working with people.
• Experience working under pressure.

Salary Depending On Experience but we have an extremely competitive salary structure for the right candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €13.00-€15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
