Retail Sales Assistant - Malahide

Description
The opportunity has arisen for Retail Sales Assistant to work in our Avoca Malahide store. This roles is part time and require mid week hours with some weekends.

Responsibilities

A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person, via phone and email.
Point of Sales system - scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
Replenishing stock, ensuring the Food & Retail offering is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager.
Cash handling skills.
Good computer skills.
Advising & serving customers.
Promoting store cards or special offers.
Assisting with the arrangement of window displays.
Meet pre-determined sales targets.
Making sure the store remains tidy.

Requirements

Cleanliness/Organisation is essential in this role.
Excellent timekeeping is a key requirement.
Effective teamwork and communication skills is essential.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to work well under pressure.
The capacity to use your initiative.
