I. BASIC PURPOSE:

To manufacture transformer engineering samples in the power laboratory in compliance with design specifications, to ensure customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.

II. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (End Results Expected):

• Producing prototype samples within a team environment according to Design Specifications.

• Building samples according to the documented work instructions in order to meet customer specification.

• To be accurate and consistent in the recording, interpretation, and implementation of work instructions.

• To be self-disciplined and motivated in relation to safety, housekeeping and time management.

• Adhering to laboratory room disciplines.

• Must be able to work in a team environment.

• To positively contribute towards the continuous improvement philosophies, in work and work-related activities.

III. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Must possess the ability to effectively communicate, present and recommend ideas and solutions. Success comes from the ability to develop strong relationships with the “engineering group” internally.

IV. COMMUNICATIONS:

ORAL: Excellent English required

WRITTEN: Excellent written skills in English required to present data and ideas via test reports, and power point presentations

Level 7 in Electronics would be an advantage but not essential
