Health and Safety Advisor

Glenman Corporation is a General Building Contractor and Civil Engineering company operating in Ireland and the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at our Head Office in Galway. The successful candidate will report directly to Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities
· Implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems
· Maintaining and upgrading detailed, accurate records of all health and safety documentation and photographic evidence
· Coordinate with the Site Management Teams and Independent Testing Body with regard to inspections, audits, verification and check-sheets sign off
· Attend site meetings to plan and review health and safety procedures and conformance
· Support the Preconstruction Team in writing responses to qualitative aspects of tenders and the graphic/illustrative preparation of tender documents
Key Skills & Experience Required
· Min. 3 years’ experience
· Construction background
· Experience implementing ISO systems
· In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety policy and regulations
· Experience working on high-value projects
· Ability to effectively communicate with relevant teams in-house and on-site
