Full-time Trade Counter Sales Person

We are currently seeking a Trade Counter Sales Person to join our dedicated team. We’re looking for a responsible, reliable, and dynamic person who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Serving customers at the counter, inquiries over the phone in a friendly and efficient manner.
Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product information to help them make informed choices.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a thorough knowledge of our product range to effectively meet customer needs and drive sales.
Maintain stock levels and ensure the trade counter is well-organised and presentable.
Verify that all incoming and outgoing goods match the accompanying paperwork.
Maintain a clean and organised front store, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
Promote and upsell products to achieve sales targets.
Follow up on quotations via email and phone to secure potential sales and build customer relationships.

Requirements:

Ability to work efficiently in a busy, multi-tasking environment.
Previous experience in customer service or sales roles is preferred.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Competence in using computer and inventory management tools.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with colleagues and customers.
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and within a team.
Physical capability to lift, carry, and move items as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
