Exciting opportunity at Honestly Farm Kitchens, Strandhill!
This is a paternity cover with immediate start (start by 16th December at the latest) until 15th January 2025. A great opportunity for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Server to work in a busy restaurant serving exceptional dishes. Honestly Farm Kitchen enjoys great support from the local community and is located a stone's throw from the beach. We are open Monday to Sunday till 7pm (8pm on Saturdays). We are closed on 25th, 26th, 27th December and on New Year's Day.
About the Experienced Restaurant Server role
In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant. You will suggest and serve to customers items from our organic, locally sourced menu, along with a selection of craft beers, wines from sustainable makers around Europe and signature cocktails, all a stone’s throw from the beach.
Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Providing fantastic service to our customers
• Run the meet and greet function when assigned (managing customer bookings, door queue and wait lists at busy times).
• Following health and safety and Food Safety standards at all times
• Cooperating effectively with team members both in the kitchen and Front of House, be a team player!
• Serve and suggest wines and cocktails to customers
• Keep the restaurant clean and presentable at all times

Job Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in a senior restaurant server role essential
• Experience of meet and greet and door management
• Bar-tending experience including wine and cocktail knowledge is a great advantage
• Barista skills an advantage
• Excellent communication & multitasking skills
• Be available evenings and weekends for the Christmas period.
