Purpose of this role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the project management of a specific, multi- cohort project with our client. The role also entails support for and involvement in selected strategic projects.
This person will work very closely with our client, will manage the programme delivery team of two people, take direct hands-on responsibility for aspects of delivery and support and will liaise with the associate faculty and delivery teams to ensure the project maintains exacting standards.
This is a full-time permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

IMI reserves the right to amend and change the job description as necessary):- Project manage a strategic client programme suite including client relationship management, client briefing, faculty briefing, programme design, planning and reporting. From time to time, this will include hands-on delivery of aspects of the programme support function.
- Develop fit for purpose detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Maintain effective transparent timely communications with the client.
- Implement all quality assurance mechanisms for the provision of programmes leading to UCC awards, ensuring the relevant UCC and IMI policy and procedures are well communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
- Coordinate the update of programme materials in line with participant and stakeholder feedback on a cohort-by-cohort basis.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the curriculum design of all client programmes and provide effective solutions for all queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Associate Faculty and delivery teams with the shared goal of delivering a world-class and unique IMI client and participant experience throughout the entire project.
- Liaise with Records and Registry manager on the recruitment, registration and graduation of participants for credit-bearing programmes on all UCC systems.
- Undertake detailed key account management of the programmes, including management of the contracting with the client and the control of the costs.
- Report updated costs and forecasts to Head of Finance and the Senior Leadership Team in consultation with the Head of Delivery and Events.
- Support other organisational strategic initiatives.
Work Location and Virtual Work: This role is based at IMI’s headquarters in Dublin. Travel within Ireland and, occasionally, internationally is required to attend meetings, conferences and client engagements.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is a minimum requirement.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience project managing large scale learning, organisational or talent development programmes in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain productive and collaborative relationships with clients, internal teams, experts and colleagues.
- Has applied project management principles, processes, and tools to ensure on time and on budget delivery of training projects and clear communication with all involved stake-holders.
- Experience of developing a range of learning resources – from online to classroom-led.
- Demonstrated superior organisational skills with the ability to deliver to demanding schedules, be self-driven, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- The ability to work flexibly and effectively in a challenging and demanding environment.
- Excellent communications (oral and written) skills are essential.
- Scrupulous attention to detail is a critical component of the role
