Delta V FLS Automation Engineer
Cognizant is a world leader in delivering digital transformation solutions to Life Sciences. We're looking for an Automation Engineer Delta V to join our expanding team in Dublin, Ireland. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.
As an Automation Engineer Delta V, you will coordinate the development of the Automation software and hardware to ensure alignment with various New Product introduction schedules. You will also enable equipment FATs, on-site SATs, commissioning and validation of the process systems to meet project schedules.
To give you an idea of how this Automation Engineer Delta V role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

Coordinate the development of the Automation software and hardware to ensure alignment with various New Product introduction schedules.
Support the client’s Commissioning Qualification and Validation (CQV) Teams in Shakedown and Verification of the Delta V Software.
Design, code and test Delta V software changes identified during Commissioning.
Work closely together with the other Automation Engineers to ensure deliverables are ready in time for the different milestones throughout the New Product Introduction projects.

Experience designing and programming control systems with an emphasis on Delta V DCS S88 batch process control within the (Bio)Pharma sector.
Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
Knowledge of process instrumentation.
