About Us:
We are opening a new Children's Residential Centre in Dublin, dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for children in our care. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Centre Manager to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of care and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Children's Residential Centre.
- Ensure the centre complies with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead and manage a team of social care professionals.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each child.
- Liaise with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the centre to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Education:
- Minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in social care and enrolled in or completed a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting.
- Alternatively, a QQI Level 8 qualification in social care with 4 years’ post-qualification experience in a social care setting.
- A professional qualification in Social Work with the requisite 4 years post-qualification practice experience and enrolled in or completed a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting.
- Candidates without a social care qualification but with 2 of the preceding 3 years as a manager of a registered centre must have a minimum Level 7 qualification in a related field and be enrolled in a management qualification suitable for a health or social care setting.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years’ full-time work experience in a social care setting post-qualification.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must possess a recognised qualification in social care, including equivalent qualifications from other jurisdictions.
