Job Title: Structural Geologist (Based in Dubai, UAE)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze geological and geophysical data to identify subsurface structures, such as faults, folds, and fractures.
• Develop 2D and 3D geological models to visualize subsurface formations and assist in resource exploration and development.
• Conduct detailed seismic interpretation to support reservoir characterization and field development planning.
• Collaborate with sedimentologists, geophysicists, and engineers to integrate structural geology into multidisciplinary projects.
• Interpret and analyze core samples, well logs, and outcrop data for structural insights.
• Evaluate the tectonic history and stress regimes influencing hydrocarbon traps and reservoir behavior.
• Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Lead or participate in fieldwork, including mapping and sample collection, as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph D preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in structural geology, seismic interpretation, or related fields.
• Proficiency in using geological modeling software (e.g., Petrel, Geo Modeller, or Move).
• Strong background in seismic interpretation, fault analysis, and structural modeling.
• Experience in sedimentology, stratigraphy, and core description is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and multicultural environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
