Job Summary:
We are looking for a good Intermediate Interior Designer (Commercial/ Residential / Hotels) to join us as a Remote Worker (ie Work from Home) permanent role.
We are a 30-man firm doing interior design (with offices in Singapore, Malaysia and Beijing), called Ministry of Design. http://www.modonline.com
Since the pandemic, we’ve found technologies to make Remote Working feasible and tested for 3 years now, and are looking for more creative talent to join us as remote workers.
Job Scope:
1. Strong conceptual design and design development skills to create memorable lifestyle experiences
2. Develop and implement overall design concepts and FFE finishes & palettes through all phases of design for Hotel, Commercial and Residential projects, in accordance to Hotel Operator’s requirements and standards
3. Work with Technical Team to finalize detailing and construction documentation
4. Participate in high-energy, collaborative team and project environments
5. Strong verbal and graphic communication skill and talent for working with diverse team of creatives
Requirements:
1. Trained in interior design, e.g. Diploma or Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
2. Relevant Work Experience: At least 5-7 years’ experience working on 5-star hotel projects
3. Highly creative, rigorous & organised, with a modern design sensibility
4. Proficiency in Auto CAD, Photoshop, In Design and Sketch-Up
5. Fluent in English
