As an Environmental Consultant, you are responsible for delivering high quality environmental assessment analysis, sustainability and climate related analyses and documentation for a range of projects including master planning and infrastructure projects with guidance from senior team members.
This role will report to Jakarta Cities, Planning and Design Leader and relevant project managers. You will focus on projects within the Indonesian market with opportunities to support regional initiatives in ASEAN, as required. It is an ideal combination for someone with environmental expertise who have a strong interest in greenhouse gas emissions, carbon calculations, and sustainable design, particularly during the early stages of project development.
The Opportunity

• Analysis of environmental impacts, greenhouse gas emissions and sustainable development including modelling work
• Participating in and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessment studies (AMDAL) to conform with Ministry of Environment requirements and / or international standards
• Analysis of sustainable development opportunities across infrastructure and masterplanning developments
• Involvement in stakeholder engagement
• Coordinating with local stakeholders including client groups

Is this role right for you?

• Degree in Environmental Management / Science / Engineering; Civil Engineering or Urban Planning degrees with environmental components; post graduate studies will be an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience as an environmental consultant supporting and undertaking environmental impact assessments (AMDAL) and environmental consulting for masterplanning and or infrastructure projects
• Experience in supporting stakeholder engagement including public engagement
• Excellent technical writing, analytical skills
• Working knowledge of relevant environmental legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines in Indonesia
