Qualifications: Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in Social sciences with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience OR
High school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database .

Experience
Experience in counselling activities is required,
Experience in working with vulnerable people and/or migrants and internally displaced people is desirable,
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage,
Experience in conducting data collection and interviews is an advantage.
Skills
Strong teamwork, ability to work under supervision.
Knowledge on people-centered approach and protection mainstreaming,
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with people from varied cultures and background,
Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills,
Strong administrative and organizational skills and demonstrated abilities to draft and edit reports,
Efficiency, flexibility, high level of professionalism and ability to work under pressure,
Computer literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel).
Languages
For this position, fluency in English and Hungarian is required (oral and written);
Working knowledge in Ukrainian and Russian is an advantage.
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
