Senior Advisor – Climate Change & Sustainability Services (Environmental Site Assessment & Due Diligence Team)


At EY Hungary, our Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCa SS) team seeks to build a better working world by helping businesses and governments respond to societal, environmental and economic challenges. We help businesses understand and evaluate the broader value impacts and outcomes associated with their organizations, operations, programs and projects. Our global team is multidisciplinary and combines our core knowledge in accounting and reporting with expertise in technical and regulatory sustainability issues.

Your key responsibilities

• Preparation of technical proposals
• Consultation with our clients and relevant authorities
• Managing ESA / EDD projects for industrial/property developments
  • Environmental Site Assessments
  • Environmental Due Diligence and Compliance audits
  • Hazardous Building Material Surveys
• Assessment of environmental risks for industrial/property developments
• Supervision of field sampling projects and teams (boring, soil, groundwater, waste, hazardous building substance sampling)
• Preparation and coordination of technical reporting

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BSc/ MSc degree in science, environmental engineering or another relevant field
• Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably with a consulting mindset
• Experience in ESAs/EDDs of various industries
• Experience in leading client relationships and people management
• Basic knowledge of Auto CAD and geospatial software solutions (Arc Gis or Qgis)
