Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining two business-critical applications as part of a two-person team.
- Analyzing customer issues and requests, providing solutions from requirements interpretation to release management.
- Developing and maintaining both backend and frontend application components using cutting-edge technologies.
- Supporting and improving current systems, ensuring high-quality performance and reliability.
- Participating in the renewal and modernization of a legacy application with a focus on updated architecture and technology stack.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including AMS management, application operation teams, and business representatives in Hungary and Germany.
- Taking ownership of code quality and functionality, actively participating in testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Have at least 3 years of experience with frontend technologies, such as React, Type Script, or similar frameworks.
- Have a strong focus on frontend development and experience with Material UI.
- Are proficient in Java development and familiar with Spring frameworks, including Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
- Have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools.
- Are comfortable working with databases like My SQL or Maria DB.
- Understand and can work with Dev Ops pipelines, such as those in Azure Dev Ops.
- Enjoy collaborating with international, virtual teams and proactively managing relationships.
- Can communicate fluently in English (knowledge of German is an advantage).
- Have experience in customer and supplier management
- Have experience working with legacy systems, including technologies like JSP or PHP.
- Are familiar with or have experience in application modernization projects.
- Have knowledge of security frameworks, such as Spring Security.
- Are interested in working with Thymeleaf, Query DSL, or similar tools.
- Are eager to expand your domain knowledge in the aviation industry.
