What makes this role exciting and challenging:
The role of the Senior Talent acquisition specialist combines recruitment expertise with strategic planning and branding initiatives to ensure the acquisition of top talent while elevating our company's reputation in the market. You'll be an integral part of our mission, contributing significantly to the success of our People department and the overall prosperity of our organization.As part of your everyday responsibilities, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager to integrate recruitment strategies with broader talent management initiatives
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from defining job requirements to onboarding, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
- Conduct HR Interviews: Lead HR interviews for EU vacancies ensuring that candidates are assessed thoroughly and fairly with respect to the AWLS HR competency Matrix.
- Craft and maintain a seamless and engaging recruitment journey for candidates, incorporating personalized communication and feedback loops to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
- Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines, anticipating future hiring needs and reducing time-to-fill for critical positions.
- Work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager to promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process, contributing to a workplace that values and celebrates differences.
- Cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers and Heads to understand their unique staffing needs and priorities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of talent acquisition strategies with broader organizational objectives.
- Generate regular reports on key recruitment metrics, providing insights to inform decision-making and optimize processes.
- Vendor Management: Manage third-party recruitment vendors, fostering effective partnerships to meet our talent acquisition needs.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to contribute to employer branding initiatives, promoting the organization as an employer of choice.
Requirements
Key qualifications for your success:
- University degree in Business, Economics or Human Resources Management
- At least 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Specialist role
- Master’s degree in HRM or Business Administration is considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills & interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of English language
- Organize and prioritize work effectively, able to adjust in a changing environment
- A desire to learn new skills and develop your existing skillset
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in a positive/professional manner
- Enjoy working collaboratively
- Positive attitude and a good sense of humor
