We are looking for someone who…
- Has relevant studies or 1+ years of work experience in videography, especially for social media.
- Brings a strong portfolio showcasing showcasing creative, engaging videos that reflect familiarity with social media trends and ‘Gen Z-focused’ content.
- Is experienced with vertical/portrait-mode filming, particularly on mobile devices like i Phone, and is proficient with DSLR or mirrorless cameras. Has a strong understanding of platform-specific requirements and a working knowledge of lighting techniques for both video and photo shoots.
- Demonstrates strong editing skills and storytelling ability, creating content that captures attention quickly.
- Is adaptable and versatile, with an understanding that different accounts require unique styles and approaches—this isn’t just videography; it’s social media production.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, handling on-the-spot filming, brainstorming, and quick turnaround times.
- Possesses a “can do” attitude and is eager to troubleshoot challenges with professionalism.
- Engaged and knowledgeable about Tik Tok and social media trends.
- Organized, but flexible, with a collaborative spirit and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable in physical, hands-on shoots that may sometimes be demanding.
- Client-focused, with strong communication skills, able to handle feedback and work autonomously or collaboratively on-site.
- Social Media Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit a range of video content designed specifically for social media platforms, aligning with client goals and brand voices. Content will include shorts (portrait/vertical), long-form videos, interviews (both setup and street interviews), fashion and beauty content, educational and instructional videos, live event highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, ads, brand awareness videos, and influencer/You Tube channel content.
- Creative Concept Development: Partner with creative, performance, and community management teams to ideate fresh, trend-driven content.
- Equipment & Mobile Filming: Primarily using mobile for video capture, ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and ready for fast-paced shoots, including setting up proper lighting to enhance video and photo quality.
- Learning & Trend Tracking: Stay updated with social media and video production trends, adapting quickly to maintain cutting-edge content.
