Louis Hotels, one of the biggest hotel groups in Greece and Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated professional for its hotel at Corfu, for the below position:
COOK A’
Main Responsibilities :
Set up workstations with all the necessary ingredients and cooking equipment.
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.).
Cook food in various utensils or grillers.
Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
Check the quality of ingredients.
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
Job Requirements:
Graduate from a culinary arts school.
A minimum of three years’ experience in a Cook A’.
Excellent culinary knowledge, including food preparation, menu planning, recipe development, and presentation.
Excellent command of the Greek and English language.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Creative and innovative with a passion for culinary excellence.
Excellent knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
EU Nationality or eligibility to work within the EU.
