Airport Duty Manager, Corfu Airport (CFU)

We are currently looking for a caliber and experienced Airport Duty Manager at Corfu Airport (CFU). The job holder will be accountable for ensuring the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the entire airport following the provisions of the Aerodrome Manual and all relevant regulatory documents, both domestic and international.
The role is located in our premises at Corfu Airport. The role is under a rotating shift schedule and reports to the CFU Airport Manager.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Supervise all Airport operational functions/activities (AOCC, Airside and Terminal) and take appropriate corrective measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Coordinate the inspection of airport areas and facilities to ensure that Health and Safety requirements are met and identify any potential hazards.
- Undertake all required actions according to the Airport Emergency Response Plan (ERP) in case of an emergency and/or drills.
- Decide in cooperation with the AM for the actions to be taken in case of operational disruptions.
- Ensure the proper implementation of the security-related legislation and the airport security plan in cooperation with the Airport Security Team.
- Review and approve the submitted Work Permits, provided they comply with the related corporate procedures and policies.
- Manage airport staff during shifts to achieve operational efficiency and alignment with FG Corporate Values.
- Previous professional experience as a Ramp Agent or in a managerial position for at least two years.
- In-depth knowledge of EASA & ICAO Regulations.
- A University Degree will be considered a plus.
- Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
- RTF license will be considered a plus.
- Any Aviation operations-related certification will be considered a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Driving License.
- Military Obligations (if applicable).
