Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Legal Services – Compliance – Sanctions Operations & Research team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us for a temporary period for 18 months, commencing in February 2025 as a Sanctions Coordinator with Arabic language skills.

You can look forward to

Supporting the team in the daily handling of suspicious cases from name matching against national and international sanctions lists
Identifying ownership and control structures, as well as the ultimate beneficial owners, within the framework of "Know Your Customer" (KYC) processes
Maintaining business partner data in the internal business partner system
Advising operational business units in Hanover and our international locations on complex issues related to sanctions compliance

You come equipped with

A completed degree in Business Administration, Linguistics, or a comparable qualification
Initial professional experience in the field of sanctions
A strong understanding of economic and legal contexts
Ideally, proficiency in using screening software and tools to ensure compliance with sanctions lists and regulations
Business-fluent Arabic, English and German skills, combined with excellent communication abilities
A high level of integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information, strong decision-making skills, and enthusiasm for working in international and interdisciplinary teams
