How you'll make an impact:

• Orchestrate and continuously improve HR admin and payroll processes to ensure efficiency
• Establish personal and team OKRs and drive progress towards these goals
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities within the team to ensure optimal workload distribution and productivity
• Lead the onboarding and ongoing development of team members to foster a winning team
• Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, feedback sessions, and performance reviews to ensure continuous development and alignment of team
• Oversee and sign off on payroll-related audit controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Workday developers, other internal stakeholders, and our external payroll provider to achieve seamless HR operations

What you'll need to thrive:

• Experience as a team lead in HR Administration and/or payroll preparation
• Solid understanding of labor law, particularly in Germany
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, our company language
• Demonstrated growth mindset with a great sense of ownership and accountability
• High degree of service orientation with a proactive problem-solving attitude
• Proficiency in HCM tools, preferably Workday, and advanced Excel skills
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all HR and payroll processes
