Your tasks: You make the difference with us.
- In your role as "Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)", you are responsible for developing and implementing scalable, secure cloud infrastructures on the Google Cloud Platform.
- Additionally, you oversee creating and managing CI/CD pipelines in Git Lab and providing cloud infrastructure for data pipelines, machine learning, and Gen AI.
- You act as a monitor and optimizer of system metrics, implementing efficiency and reliability improvements, and developing monitoring solutions for cloud-based systems.
- Your responsibilities include implementing and managing security policies and procedures, and developing, presenting, and introducing security processes and policies in the data community.
- With your expertise in cloud infrastructure, you collaborate closely with data mesh development teams, create business and technical concepts, and foster a platform and service mentality.
- You have at least 3 years experience in a similar role with a focus on Google Cloud, with expertise in infrastructure deployment and testing (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
- Strong software engineering skills with relevant methodologies (CI/CD, Dev Ops mentality), and proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby) or databases (e.g., Postgre SQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
- Solid and practical experience in virtualization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), cloud development, microservices, and the conception of frameworks.
- An agile and open mindset with a strong sense of responsibility, and enjoyment in working with different people.
- A keen interest in new technologies and continuous learning.
