We are seeking a Financial Analyst, Group Finance Control to join and strengthen our Group Finance Control team. This is a permanent position and is preferably based at Ahlstrom’s headquarters in Espoo, Finland. The role reports to the Manager, Group Finance Control.

Your main responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and consolidation of the Group according to IFRS.
- Participate in updating Group accounting policies and other instructions.
- Participate in giving support, guidance, instructions and training to the controllers and Finance Shared Centers about consolidation system, IFRS reporting and related matters.
- Participate in different projects in the group accounting (for example IFRS18, consolidation system improvement)
To be successful in this role, you should have
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, controlling or auditing roles.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
- Willingness to handle routine tasks as well as complex projects.

- Interest in IFRS and accounting topics and a desire to grow your expertise.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Solid Excel skills and an analytical mindset.
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
