Welcome to the naval side of life! We are looking for a Combat System Commissioning Coordinator to join in our mission to create striking performance – the 9LV Combat System.
Your Role
As a CS Commissioning Coordinator (CSCC), you will have an important role with great responsibility in our projects delivering total naval combat systems solutions to the end customer. We integrate a wide range of systems and sensors into solutions which together provide the required capability to our customers.
The CSCC is responsible towards the CS Ship Manager to issue STW readiness reports to each supplier. To be able to do this effectively the CSCC needs to be on site as often as needed to in person follow and inspect the progress of SY outfitting (installation of CS equipment). The CSCC is also responsible for coordinating the commissioning efforts for all suppliers and to develop and maintain the CS Commissioning plan.
The position is based in our Turku Office and requires occasional travelling mainly within Finland. We hope that you’d be able to join our team somewhere during February/March 2025.

Your skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you must have a keen attention to detail while maintaining focus on the bigger picture. You should be able to share information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and be a strong communicator in English. Finnish skills are a must have. Additionally, you should have a collaborative mindset, while also demonstrating the ability to complete tasks independently.
You are self-driven and result-oriented with a “get the job done” attitude. Curiosity and the ability to learn new technical areas are necessary attributes for the role. The ability to take responsibility for the execution and successful completion of assigned tasks within time and budget is essential. Furthermore, we appreciate that you have a background in the Finnish Navy or are in other ways very familiar with the Finnish Navy procurement and verification process.
A formal degree in Engineering or qualifications gained through professional experience are an advantage.
Desired skills and experience:

• Experience in the naval domain and/or the defense industry
• Experience in working on a higher-level system hierarchy
• Experience in leading and directing suppliers
• Have strong planning and communication skills

In this job, some of your tasks have a connection to defense secrecy. Therefore, a drug test and approved security clearance in accordance with the Finnish Security Clearance act 726/2014 is required for the selected applicant.
